BANGKOK, Temples
Bangkok – Thailand’s capital based on Chao Phraya River – is known for its ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The Rattanakosin royal district is home to magnificent Grand Palace and sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple.
AYUTTHAYA KINGDOM, UNESCO World Heritage Centre
Ayutthaya was a prosperous international trading port and a capital of the Kingdom of Siam (1350 – 1767). This archaeological site contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries and statues.
CHIANG MAI, Temples
Chiang Mai was founded in 1296. It was capital of the independent Lanna Kingdom until 1558. This whimsical city in mountains of northern Thailand is home to hundreds of elaborate Buddhist temples, including 14th-century Wat Phra Singh and 15th-century Wat Chedi Luang, adorned with carved serpents.
CHIANG MAI, Modern City
PHUKET, Islands
Phuket is an island in the Andaman Sea (Indian Ocean), with Thailand’s most popular beaches, magical sunsets, and many smaller islands one of which called James Bond island. Fascinating floating village Ko Panyi with floating soccer field, and a mosque (row # 3 below) is home to 360 families descended from two seafaring Muslim families from Java.
KO SAMUI
Mu Ko Ang Thong Marine National Park with its 42 islands is absolutely majestic in its purity, tranquility, and beauty of Nature.
